By accessing or using Sandbox Physics, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

Sandbox Physics provides browser-based simulations, explanatory material, search and navigation tools, and related educational content. Features may be added, changed, suspended, or removed as the project develops.

You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to access the public site for lawful personal, classroom, and other non-commercial educational use. This permission does not transfer ownership of the site, its content, or its software.

• Do not use the service in violation of law or the rights of another person.
• Do not interfere with availability, overload infrastructure, introduce malicious code, or probe for vulnerabilities without written authorization.
• Do not bypass access controls, signed sessions, same-origin checks, protected asset paths, or other technical safeguards.
• Do not use crawlers, mirrors, scripts, or similar tools to bulk extract protected Lab engine code or recreate a directly runnable copy of the experiment library.
• Do not misrepresent the source of site content, remove provenance notices or watermarks, or imply an affiliation or endorsement that does not exist.
• Reasonable linking, quoting, and classroom discussion are welcome when they comply with applicable law and identify Sandbox Physics as the source.

Interactive experiments are simplified numerical or visual models. Their scales, parameters, boundary conditions, and teaching narratives may intentionally differ from real systems. Results can also depend on browser performance and numerical approximation.

The service is provided for learning and general information. It is not engineering, laboratory, medical, legal, financial, or safety advice, and it must not be used as the sole basis for a real-world design, experiment, diagnosis, or hazardous activity. Verify important results with qualified sources and professionals.

Unless a page says otherwise, the site design, original text, illustrations, interactive Lab implementations, protected runtime code, and other original materials are owned by the site operator or used with permission. They are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Names, quotations, scientific facts, and third-party materials remain subject to their respective rights. Nothing in these terms grants a trademark right or a right to redistribute source code or protected runtime assets.

The service relies on infrastructure and resources supplied by third parties and may link to independent websites. Their content, availability, security, and terms are controlled by their operators. A link does not imply endorsement.

The service may be unavailable, delayed, or changed without notice. Access may be limited or terminated when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, respond to misuse, or maintain infrastructure. You may stop using the service at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so part of this section may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, opportunity, revenue, or goodwill arising from use of or inability to use the service. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains limited only to the extent the law permits.

These terms may be updated as the service or applicable requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent allowed by law.

If a dispute arises, please contact the site operator first so the issue can be addressed informally. Any unresolved matter will be handled under applicable law and by a court or forum with lawful jurisdiction; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
